By accessing or using Spoken Kitchen, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
Spoken Kitchen is a paid web application that helps families preserve recipes through audio recordings, AI transcription, and bilingual translation. The service produces digital and printed heirloom cookbooks.
3. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload, including audio recordings, photos, and videos. We do not claim ownership of your family recipes or recordings.
By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you and your designated family members.
4. Data Preservation & Ownership
Your original audio recordings are the irreplaceable artifact. We treat them with reverence: we never overwrite, never lose, and always keep them playable and exportable.
You can download your complete archive — including all recipes, original recordings, photos, and machine-readable data — at any time, for free. This is your permanent guarantee of ownership and portability.
5. Service Period
Each cookbook purchase includes 15 months of active creation access, during which you can record recipes, edit content, and use AI processing. After this period, your cookbook transitions to archived status with permanent read-only access.
6. Payment
Spoken Kitchen is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Prices are displayed at checkout. Additional printed copies can be ordered at any time.
7. Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. Audio recordings may contain personal information shared during cooking narration. We process this data only to provide the service and never share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
8. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time. Account deletion includes a 30-day recovery period. Cookbook deletion requires typing the cookbook name to confirm and includes a 30-day recovery period before permanent deletion.
9. Service Discontinuation
If Spoken Kitchen ever ceases operation, customers will receive 90 days notice and a final download of their complete cookbook archive. Your cookbook data will always be exportable before any service shutdown.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
